Tourist Season

Camps Bay has a long international visitor season from November till late March, with a shorter more intense local season from mid-December (typically the 16^th till the 1^st week of January).

Typically November is more wind free, milder and better priced. December builds slowly to its peak at New Years Eve. February was always traditionally the hotter and drier month. The famous Camps Bay South Easter wind is most prominent from late November till late February.

To this end, we are open part-time from September and fulltime from 1 November till end April, weather permitting.

Off-season (i.e. June to Sept), Camps Bay retains a quieter village charm and local life carries on comfortably, with warmer days still seeing many visitors. Cape seas and sunsets are spectacular in winter.
